A lovely lillypilly and one that's ideal for urban gardens where you want to screen out stickybeak neighbours but still have room to kick a ball around.

Straight and Narrow™ makes a native alternative to the Italian cypress or pencil pine if you want that tall slender look, and the new leaf colour glows red in sun.

Psyllid resistant.

Syzygium australe 'Straight and Narrow'™ PBR ‘SAN01’

APPEARANCE:  Ozbreed variety. Very slender, tall, upright lilly pilly with dense glossy green foliage and white flowers followed by reddish berries. New leaf colour is rich warm red. Psyllid resistant.
USE FOR: Excellent for hedging, screening, feature planting, and as a potted specimen. 
CLIMATE : Protect from frost.
PLANTING: Tolerates most positions and conditions including dry climates, but would benefit with mulching and fertilising at the time of planting in a moist well-drained soil.  Ideal in full sun.
CARE: Mulch and keep watered until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Tip prune while young to encourage dense foliage growth, prune yearly or as required once fully established.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 5 - 8m H x 1 - 1.5m W
