Beloved beautiful native quandong tree, very disease resistant and needs little maintenance. Stunning bronze new leaf colour and elegant shape make this a very attractive addition to all but the smallest of frost-free outdoor spaces.

Very popular subtropical street tree, and large feature tree; responds well to hard pruning if necessary and creates a spectacular tall hedge.

Elaeocarpus Eumundi

APPEARANCE : Native foliage tree with bronze-coral-red new growth and deep green glossy leaves arranged in a fan. Flowers late spring to early summer with clusters of sweetly scented cream flowers.
USE FOR : One of our most popular specimen trees. Ideal for large hedges, screening plants and avenue planting, for foliage colour, or as a single feature tree.
LOCATION: Sunny position; ideal in the warmer subtropical parts of Australia, and in protected areas in cooler climates.  Plant in a free draining soil, rich in organic matter, and not over-wet.
CARE: Mulch and water well until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune lightly and regularly to maintain a dense growth habit and fertilise with a slow release native fertiliser during spring. Protect from frost until mature. Pest and disease resistance is high so little maintenance is required once established. Happy to be hard pruned if necessary, but they have an attractive natural shape without pruning.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 7m H x 2m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
