Fast growing, establishes quickly, especially from our tubestock. Thrives in milder climates of Australia. Evergreen dense hedge or shrub, great for tall privacy screening and will tolerate clipping to lower heights.

Larger leaf and more open habit than Dense Fence, smaller leaf than Emerald Lustre and with a matt appearance.

Description

Viburnum odoratissimum - sweet viburnum

APPEARANCE : Evergreen shrub with rich green matt foliage. Sweet viburnum has a dense growth habit with clusters of small white scented flowers.
USE FOR : Ideal for screening, hedges, and feature planting in tropical and subtropical gardens. Establishes quickly, fast-growing.
CLIMATE : suitable to more temperate climates of Australia. This variety prefers a moderate climate, not tolerant of drought or extreme heat, but should survive a light frost once established.
PLANTING : Sunny to part shade in most garden soils.
CARE : Mulch, water well and fertilise in spring with a slow release fertiliser. Prune or clip twice yearly to promote new growth and encourage compact growth habit.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH : 2 - 4 m H x 3 m W.
