She might be a princess but she's not precious about where she grows - dry soils ,coastal sites, sea spray, in garden beds, in patio pots will all suit her well. Deep pink-almost-red flowers appear sporadically through the year, for long colour interest and maximum birdwatching potential.

APPEARANCE: Compact kangaroo paw with dark pink paw flowers each with a contrasting yellow-green centre; and a bushy growth habit giving lots of flowering stems. Flowers intermittently all year round.
USE FOR : Plant as a feature in pots or use as a bordering plant in native gardens. The flowers are nectar rich and bird attracting, popular used in cut flower arrangements. 
CLIMATE : Tolerant of coastal conditions, drought once established, and light overnight frost.
PLANTING: Plant in light free draining soil in a full sun frost-free location with plenty of air.  Kangaroo paws don't like too much humidity and do well in drier climates.
CARE: For best flowering display remove the first flower spike to help stimulate new flower buds. Prune spent flowers and dead foliage regularly and this plant will reward your efforts.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  70cm H x 50cm W.
