How excited are we to get this beautiful plant into our range? How excited will you be to finally own it, after seeing it in all the trendsetting instagram posts?

Each leaf looks like quilted metallic fabric, and as the plant slowly grows you can watch each one develop and deepen in colour. Gorgeous.

Alocasia baginda 'Dragon Scale' - elephant's ear

APPEARANCE: Tropical rainforest foliage plant with silvery-green-blue leaves that darken towards the centre and along the veins. The undersides of each leaf are a pale cream colour with maroon veins.
USE FOR Indoor feature plant - show it off in your best pot. Or plant into your tropical garden where it can grow to full potential.
PLANTING: Really good rich moist free-draining loam. At least half a day of good light, but not direct sun. It may occasionally drip harmless sap so place it on tile or other surface you can clean.
CARE: Ideally, recreate a tropical rainforest - steamy and hot and not too sunny. Water little and often so the compost is moist but not soggy. Mist it regularly if your climate is not naturally humid. Turn the plant every month or so if you are growing it indoors so it stays symmetrical. Keep it warm and sheltered.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  1 m H x 50 cm W
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
You can see an example in the image gallery.
