Camellia sasanqua 'Roseann'

APPEARANCE : Evergreen shrub or small tree with displays of flowers in autumn and early winter. Semi-double rich musk-pink blooms above glossy dark evergreen foliage. Sasanqua Camellias have smaller leaves and more dense foliage than the Japonica varieties. They are more sun tolerant, better in warmer climates, and earlier flowering.
USE FOR : Ideal for screens, hedges, espaliers and large pots. They make a great display grouped together and alone as feature plants.
CLIMATE : Should come through an overnight frost once established. Shelter from strong winds and exposed sites.
PLANTING : Sunny or partly shaded position with morning or afternoon sun. Plant in a free draining soil, neutral to acid pH, rich in organic matter. A potting mix rich with humus is ideal added at the time of planting.
CARE : Mulch and water well, prune after flowering and fertilise in Spring.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH : 3.5 m H x 2.5 m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
