Single, simple, vibrant coral red blooms cover this shrub in spring. Compact to 1m around, makes a lovely low hedge, pot plant or feature planting, especially in woodland or Japanese style gardens.

Azalea x hybrida 'Red Glitter'

APPEARANCE: A medium sized azalea with vibrant rose red coloured single flowers during spring.
USE IN: Feature planting in Japanese style gardens: Suited to container planting.
LOCATION: Azaleas love dappled, morning and/or afternoon sun. A full sun location may be ok but not too exposed, hot and dry. Plant in a free draining soil rich in organic matter.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Continue to water on a regular basis for the first twelve months to ensure the plant becomes fully established. Prune after spring flowering to promote dense growth habit and flowering next season, fertilise using a slow release fertiliser such as Osmocote which is specially formulated for azaleas

YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
