Get a little of everything with this flowering native shrub. White, pink and crimson-red shades as flowers mature. Perfect for gardeners who like to mix things up a little!In SA TAS WA? We can't ship this to you for biosecurity reasons. Most of our waxflowers are propagated in summer after they finish flowering, so tubestock plants are usually available for sale late January-early February onwards until they sell out.

DESCRIPTION: Australian native shrub with a rounded growth habit and white flowers maturing to red. Flowers winter through to spring.USE IN: Plant in native gardens for flowering colour as a foreground/feature plant or as a low hedge. Suited to container planting. Popular cut flower!
LOCATION: Plant in an open location in free draining soil. Prefers a full sun-partly shaded position in the garden, best flowering is achieved in full sun. Suitable to exposed areas in most parts of Australia. Tolerates light frost and is drought resistant once established. Prefers low humidity climates.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune lightly after flowering to encourage new growth and dense flowering next season, avoid cutting into old wood. Fertilise yearly using a slow release native fertiliser.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: Up to 2 m H x 1.5 m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. You can see an example in the image gallery
