Dense oval cabbage with wrinkled leaves and mild flavour. Tasty raw or cooked - we recommend a wong bok crispy noodle salad with toasted almonds. Good companion plants for cabbage: rosemary, dill, chamomile, coriander, nasturtiums, mint.
Brassica pekinensis - Chinese cabbage, wong bok, wombok
DESCRIPTION: Dense rugby-ball sized cabbage with wrinkled pale green leaves and mild flavour. Tasty in salads or cooked.
PLANTING: Sow direct. Lightly cover seed to 5mm.
CARE: Keep moist through germination and while growing. Water and feed regularly through the growing period. Harvest in just 8-10 weeks from sowing.
