Description

Rocket - Eruca sativa
DESCRIPTION: Versatile soft leafy salad green with a mild peppery taste, rich in vitamins and antioxidants. Eat raw in salads, cooked in stir fries, omelettes, as a side dish.
PLANTING: Sow direct or in containers . Cover seed to 10mm.
CARE: Keep moist through germination and water regularly while growing, or the plant will start to flower. Sow every two weeks to ensure a year round supply of fresh leaves. Harvest as soon as leaves are big enough to eat - just snip off as many as you need and leave the roots to grow on.
