Lower-growing form of the super-popular native groundcover, this yellow buttons is perfect for low-profile mass plantings, especially in exposed locations. Looks good in windowboxes and planters, front of borders, under shrubs in your native garden. 

This one has shorter rounder leaves than the species - you cna see the foliage in the image gallery

Chrysocephalum apiculatum Compact Form - yellow buttons

DESCRIPTION: A lovely prostrate form to the native ground cover with softly textured silver-green foliage and loads of sunny yellow flowers, cut and bring indoors to enjoy. Flowers in spring.
USES: Perfect for rockeries, borders and mass planting as a ground cover. Found all over Australia so will adapt and grow in almost any soil and climate.
PLANTING: Plant in a full sun position in the garden to maximise flowering, though will tolerate part shade.  Tolerates hot conditions with regular watering. Plant in well drained soil.
CARE: Mulch and water well during establishment. Remove spent flowers to encourage new growth. Apply a slow release native fertiliser after pruning.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 20 cm H x 1 m W.
