Clivia are excellent plants suited for dry shade under trees, or as indoor plants, flowering in clusters of pastel yellow shades late winter and spring.

Clivia miniata 'Belgian hybrid Yellow'

APPEARANCE : Clumping, evergreen perennial with long, green, strap-like foliage. In late winter and early spring clusters of trumpet-shaped flowers appear on strong stems held high above the foliage, followed by red cherry-like seedpods.
PLANTING : Clivia perform best in filtered light in any reasonable garden soil, including dry conditions once established. It will grow in dense shade but will not flower as well.
CARE : Remove spent flowerstems to encourage more flowering. Apply less water during the cooler months, this is known to encourage more flowering in spring. Reapply mulch and apply a liquid fertiliser at half the regular strength each spring. Protect from frost, cold conditions and hot afternoon sun. Lift and divide every 3-4 years or when clumps become large.
HEIGHT & WIDTH :  0.5 m H x 0.6 m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
