This variety is a little taller, and a little more shade tolerant too, perfect for tropical garden underplanting. The flower shape gives these plants their other common name of Siam tulip.
Curcuma are compact plants, and flower best in well lit areas, protected from wind and frost.

The large white flower bracts may last up to 2 months on the plant; you can see the true lavender-purple flowers nestled inside the bracts along the stem. Flowers are produced late spring to autumn. These curcumas originate in the wild in Cambodia, Thailand and VietnamUSE IN: Ideal for tropical style gardens, pots and underplanting. Can also be grown in full sun in the garden.
LOCATION: Plant in well-draining soil in a full sun to part shade location in a sheltered position in the garden.

At the first sign of new shoots appearing apply liquid fertiliser. Come summer your ginger will be bursting with vibrant leaves and flowers again. Protect from wind and frost.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 0.5m H x 0.5m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 120mm high and 50mm wide.
