Rhagodia parabolica, Chenopodium parabolicum 'Grey Edge' - saltbush

APPEARANCE : Hardy native, large bold size; grey-green felty leaves with a slight twist, and small red translucent berries. This variety is half the size of the native species form. Reclassified as Chenopodium in 2012.
ORIGIN : Parent species is found in QLD, NSW, VIC, SA
USE FOR :  Native plantings, coastal and exposed situations, low maintenance gardens, waterwise gardens, firebreak, windbreak, hedge, erosion control.
CLIMATE : Doesn't like high humidity. Can survive a light frost.
PLANTING : Tolerates most well-drained soil types including clay, salt, and sand. Plant in full sun.
CARE: Mulch and water well during dry periods while plant is establishing. Prune to maintain tidiness, encourage bushiness, or trim to shape if necessary
