Flowers almost all year round, meaning you'll be rewarded with birds, butterflies, and bees who find the bright red flowers irresistible.

Unusual neat, low-growing native with soft small rounded copper-blush leaves more like a correa, and small spidery, scarlet flowers that are very bird-friendly. Plant as a dense screen, hedge, feature or container, it's super versatile!

We love Deua Flame for its long flowering season, soft rounded foliage, vermilion colour

Grevillea rhyolitica 'Deua Flame'
APPEARANCE: Compact growing evergreen native with large showy clusters of red hot flowers throughout most of the year, and untypical small rounded leaves with a bronze tint when young. Very similar to LadyO.
ORIGIN : G rhyolitica comes from a small coastal area of NSW, in a wide range of habitats and environments
USE IN: Native garden, wildlife garden. Clipped as a hedge or screening plant. Suited to containers. Long flowering season
CLIMATE: Tolerates mild frost.
PLANTING: Plant in full sun to part shade in well drained soil.
CARE: Mulch and water in using eco-seaweed. Water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune after flowering to encourage future buds, and to shape the plant. Feed with a slow release native fertiliser when buds form - grevilleas can be phosphorus-sensitive so the P ratio of the fertiliser needs to be under 3%
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 1.5M-2M.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
You can see an example in the image gallery.
