Grevillea Red Clusters

Back in stock: in 4-6 weeks
Out of stock
This bushy little grevillea pops with cherry red colour from winter through to spring, giving you a Christmas in July feeling, and giving native birds a welcome feed in the cooler months. It's a compact size so doesn't need much pruning, but a light shaping after flowering will help maintain the bushiness and produce more buds.
Grevillea rhyolitica x juniperina 'Red Clusters'

APPEARANCE: Compact dense native Grevillea that grows into a rounded small shrub with neat dark leaves, slightly weeping stems, and small, dark red flowers in the cooler months. Shares a parent with Deua Flame, Ruby Jewel, Sunkissed, New Blood, Canterbury Gold
USES: Mass planting, container plants, wildlife garden, native garden, low informal hedging.
PLANTING: Plant in well drained soil, mulch well and water regularly until the plant is established.
CARE: Prefers a warm, sunny position in the garden and is frost and drought tolerant once established and mature. Prune after flowering to promote new growth and flowering. Feed with a slow release native fertiliser when buds form - grevilleas can be phosphorus-sensitive so the P ratio of the fertiliser needs to be under 3%.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 0.75-1 m H x 1 m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
