Intense red ruffled leaves year-round are the striking feature of this frost-hardy foliage plant. In cold weather it gets redder still, if that's possible. If you want an instant pop of colour, or to add a tropical flavour to a cold-climate garden, this is perfect. It's happy in warmer climates too.

Heuchera 'Forever Red'® - coral bells
APPEARANCE : Dense, mounding, fast-growing herbaceous perennial with small scalloped leaves that are the reddest colour of all the Heuchera varieties. Long slender stems topped with tiny bell-shaped white flowers in mid-spring and summer.USE FOR : Garden beds and borders, cottage and informal gardens, underplanting.
LOCATION: Plant in part sun to dappled or part shade in moist but well-drained light soil. Totally frost-hardy. Will need more watering in full sun, or warmer gardens during summer, to keep those leaves lush.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks, and again each spring. Cut back any dead or untidy foliage in spring to make room for new growth, and give it fresh mulch in autumn. Large plants with multiple crowns can be divided and replanted in autumn.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 30 cm H x 45 cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tube-stock plants, young healthy plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. May be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
