Hydrangea quercifolia 'Snow Queen'

APPEARANCE :  Large big-leaved shrub with conical white flowers from late spring through to early autumn, when they take on a pink blush. Leaves flush with reds and oranges once cooler weather starts.
CLIMATE : Frost hardy. 'Snow Queen' is more sun-tolerant than the species form.
USE FOR : Ideal for cottage gardens, woodland style gardens, and containers.
PLANTING : Hydrangeas prefer a sheltered, partly shaded or shady position, in rich soil, and plenty of water during dry periods.
CARE : Water regularly during the first 8-12 weeks until the plant is established, and during dry spells after that. Apply a slow release fertiliser early spring. Protect from harsh sunlight. Quercifolias flower on old wood so site them carefully to give them space to grow. Prune them by deadheading spent flowers back to a leaf joint.
HEIGHT & WIDTH :  2 m H x 2 m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
You can see an example in the image gallery.
