Ligularia - tractor seat plant
Plant this for an effortless lush tropical vibe in your shady borders - it loves damp places and sheltered spots, where those gorgeous leaves will really shine. It looks great poolside too!
You wouldn't know it to look at it, but this and all its Ligularia cousins are members of the daisy family, and in summer you'll see yellow starry flowers appear on long stems. Enjoy the bright colour, or snip them off to keep the all-green foliage feeling.
