Description

Philodendron 'Heather May'
APPEARANCE: Evergreen tropical foliage plant with long sword-shaped deep green leaves which have a weeping habit. Older leaves may develop a slight wiggled edge, like a smoothed-out Xanadu.
USE IN: Indoor plant, shady borders in a tropical garden.
LOCATION: Plant indoors or a full-shade position. Suited to warm climates and well lit protected areas in cooler climates. Protect from frost. Plant in a free draining soil rich in organic matter. A potting mix rich with peat moss or humus is ideal.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly during the first 12 weeks until the plant is established. Fertilise with a slow release fertiliser yearly to ensure luscious growth.
