Liriope Royal Purple
The deepest purple one. Rich purple dense flowers in summer, black berries in winter, evergreen grassy foliage all year round.
Great for borders, mass planting, deep ground cover almost anywhere. Happy in deep shade or full sun, and very cold hardy.

DESCRIPTION: Rich green widestrappy foliage on clumping plants with purple flower spikes in summer and autumn followed by black berries. Will not spread vigorously; moderately fast growing and will clump to form dense groundcvoer
USES: Great as a border, mass landscaping, and under-planting where layering is used to create depth.
PLANTING: This perennial grass will tolerate full sun to deep shade. Plants in shade will grow more slowly and with thinner leaves. Plant in free draining soil rich in organic matter.
CARE: Mulch and water well, will tolerate drought and poor soils. Feed with a controlled release fertiliser after flowering for best results. Trim yearly before new growth appears.
