APPEARANCE : Medium sized open shrub with small oval evergreen leaves, copper-bronze when young; and white fringe-tassel flowers .
USE IN: Ideal for informal hedges and feature shrubs, cottage gardens, winter gardens.
LOCATION: Sunny or partly shaded position with morning or afternoon sun. Shelter from strong winds and exposed sites. Plant in a free draining soil rich in organic matter.  A potting mix rich with peat moss or humus is ideal added at the time of planting.
CARE: Mulch and water well, prune after flowering and fertilise in Spring. Plant in a soil which is medium to acidic. Avoid lime. Regular clipping will encourage flowering stems
