Looking more like a silversmith created it, than Mother Nature, this moody metallic little indoor plant loves the shady humid environment of bathrooms and terrariums. It will grow happily outside in shady tropical borders too, where those silvery leaves will gleam.

Pilea involucrata ‘Norfolk’ - friendship plant

APPEARANCE: Tropical foliage plant with dark green to brown leaves featuring silvery-white streaks.
USE FOR: Indoor plant for bathrooms and kitchens, outside on a shaded frost-free patio, accent planting in tropical gardens. Ideal for terrariums and bottle gardens.
PLANTING: Needs steady temperatures over 10C, away from direct sun. Plant in indirect sunlight or dappled shade. Prefers moist free-draining soil or a good quality potting mix, and lots of humidity.
CARE: Water regularly during the first 12 weeks and once established. Mist regularly if air humidity is low. Apply a very diluted liquid feed every month for vibrant healthy foliage. Remove the old leaves for a quick tidy up.
