Teucrium marum - cat thyme

APPEARANCE : Very hardy, low growing evergreen small shrub with a spreading habit. Dense tiny grey rounded foliage is aromatic, and covered in summer by small pink-magenta flowers.
USE FOR : Rock gardens, sunny beds; dry unpromising soils. Plant with dry-climate natives and other Mediterranean plants.
LOCATION : Plant in a sunny location, in free draining gritty soil; it loves heat and dry, ideal for our long hot summers.
CARE : Mulch and water regularly for the first 12 weeks until the plant establishes. Protect from hard frost with a thick mulch, especially in heavier less sandy soils.. Tolerates drought once established. Clip it over after flowering to keep it fresh.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 30cm H x 45cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants with healthy young roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
