Orchid-like ruffled blossoms of white, edged in frills of mauve-purple, in winter and early spring (and in autumn in our nursery). Such a pretty evergreen azalea, and a lovely compact size to only 80cm, ideal for outdoor pots or indoor use in cooler climates.
We're not able to ship this product to South Australia, Tasmania, or Western Australia for biosecurity reasons.
Azalea indica 'Rosa Belton'
APPEARANCE: Flowers in late winter to early spring with ruffled blooms of striped mauve and white on a small evergreen shrub. IN bright sun the flowers eventually fade to white with pink stamens.USE IN: Beautiful in groups as a mass display of flowering colour. Suitable for pots.
LOCATION: Azaleas love dappled, morning and/or afternoon sun. A full sun location may be ok but not too exposed, hot and dry.
Plant in a free draining soil rich in organic matter.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Continue to water on a regular basis for the first twelve months to ensure the plant becomes fully established. Prune after spring flowering to promote dense growth habit and flowering next season, fertilise using a slow release fertiliser such as Osmocote which is specially formulated for azaleas.

YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide. You can see an example in the image gallery
