Banksia robur - swamp banksia
DESCRIPTION: The classic Australian Native tree with blue-green foliage opening to gold nectar filled flowers in autumn and winter. Large leaves compliment the flower. Looks good in grouped plantings.
USES: Cut Flower.  This adaptable Banksia forms an excellent screen plant and is able to tolerate frost and salt spray. Birds adore these plants and kept busy for ages.  Seed pods are decorative.  Will tolerate moist soil in full sun.
PLANTING: Plant in a well drain sandy to sandy loam soil but not alkaline.  Full sun.
CARE: Prune as required to maintain compact growth and fertiluse using slow Use Native fertilisers.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 3m H x 2m W.
PLEASE NOTE: These plants are tube-stock plants, with the benefit of being a young plant they will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm in height with a pot size of 42 mm wide and 80 mm high.
