Pennisetum alopecuroides - swamp fountain grass

APPEARANCE : Australian native tussock grass, fast growing, with fine green foliage and cream flower heads during the warmer months.
USE FOR : Mass plant to control weeds, scatter through rocky garden settings or plant as a border. Suited to moist boggy soils.
CLIMATE : Tolerates light overnight frost
PLANTING : Plant in full sun to part shade; grows in most garden soils.
CARE : Mulch and water well, remove old flowerstems and dead leaves for a tidy appearance. Apply a controlled release fertiliser after trimming for best results. Water during dry periods.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 1m H x 1m W.
