Lagerstroemia 'Hopi' - crepe myrtle

DESCRIPTION: Showy warm rose-pink flower clusters bring this deciduous shrub to life at the peak of summer's heat. Vigorous growing variety with smooth grey bark and a broad rounded growth habit.
USES: Specimen shrub, small tree, in mixed borders in cottage gardens.
LOCATION: Plant in a full sun position in the garden.
CARE: Water regularly during the first 8-12 weeks until the plant is established, then during dry periods until the plant develops a trunk. Prune in autumn following leaf drop for prolific summer flowering and a dense growth habit; or deadhead after first flowers to keep an elegant shape and encourage a second flower flush. Fertilise using a slow release fertiliser twice yearly, thrive in clay soils.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 3.5m H x 3.5m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants, young healthy plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
