Lagerstroemia 'Lipan' - crepe myrtle

APPEARANCE : Soft blue-pink flowers during summer on this deciduous shrub, perfect for feature planting. Vigorous growing variety with smooth grey bark and an upright growth habit. Resistant to powdery mildew.
USES: Ideal for light screening, topiary, hedge planting and large containers.
PLANTING : Plant in a full sun position in the garden grouped with our other crepe myrtle varieties for loads of summer colour.
CARE: Water regularly during the first 8-12 weeks until the plant is established, then during dry periods until the plant develops a trunk. Prune in autumn following leaf drop for prolific summer flowering and a dense growth habit; or deadhead after first flowers to keep an elegant shape and encourage a second flower flush. Fertilise using a slow release fertiliser twice yearly, thrive in clay soils.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 3.5m H x 3.5m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
You can see an example in the image gallery.
