Grevillea longifolia x willisii 'Poorinda Anticipation'
APPEARANCE: Dense native shrub with long spreading branches of dissected foliage, purplish-red new growth; and dainty musk-pink toothbrush flowers during spring.
ORIGIN :G longifolia is found around Sydney and the Blue Mountains NSW, growing in moist sandstone areas; G willisii is a tall vigorous cream-flowered grevillea from the Omeo highlands of VIC, where it grows on rocky stony soil
USE FOR; Informal hedge or screening; wildlife garden; native garden colour
CLIMATE: It is frost hardy and requires little water once established.
PLANTING: Well-drained clay loam or sandy soil with a neutral to acid pH. Prefers full sun to part shade for best flowering. Adaptable and hardy so worth a try in most locations.
CARE: Water during the first 8-12 weeks until the plant is established. Light pruning after flowering will promote dense growth. MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH: 2-2.5 m H x 2.5-3 m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tubestock plants with healthy young roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 42 mm wide and 80 mm high.
