Plant this dramatically-coloured grass where you can see the light shine through it and your garden will glow scarlet, ruby and vermilion. Deciduous in colder climates, it may well keep growing and glowing right through a subtropical winter. We love Japanese blood grass for the intense colour, ability to grow almost anywhere.
