Small dark glossy leaves, tiny white starry flowers that pack a huge scented punch for their size. The botanic name means "fragrant flower". Evergreen, slowgrowing, dense habit makes an ideal hedge even in exposed locations. Frost hardy.

DESCRIPTION: Native to Asia, this scented flowering shrub has small dark evergreen foliage and tiny white starry flowers with a strong perfume.USES: Very versatile slow growing shrub. Suited to hedging and topiary. PLANTING: Plant in almost any good well-drained soil and any aspect, though it prefers a little sun at some point in the day.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune as required after flowering to maintain shape, and fertilise with a slow release fertiliser in spring. Suited to most climates in Australia.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: Up to 4 m H x 2 m W.
