A fancy catmint for you and kitty to enjoy. This one will flower deep blue through the warmer months, especially with a little shade, and extra water in dry spells. It will grow smaller and more compact in poor dry soil, and taller and more open in richer irrigated soil.
APPEARANCE : Bushy aromatic perennial with grey-green leaves and blue spires of flowers, with dark stems, from mid-spring through to early autumn. USE FOR : Cottage gardens, mixed borders, kitchen gardens to attract pollinators. PLANTING : Plant in well-drained soil of any kind, with dappled or part shade for some of the day. So cold hardy it would probably grow in the Antarctic. CARE : Mulch and water regularly for the first 12 weeks until the plant establishes. Clip over after first flowering to promote a second flush, and fertilise using a slow release fertiliser. HEIGHT: 50cm H x 80cm W.
