The wild species form. This low-growing mounded native shrub grows in almost any soil, is very drought tolerant, tough, and great for inland and outback gardens where softer plants may struggle.

The grey-green colour creates an attractive backdrop to brighter seasonal flowers; and the dense foliage is ideal hiding habitat for reptiles and small mammals to stay cool and safe.
