Single happy flowers decorate this easy-care sun-loving drought-tolerant container plant. Happy indoors too if there is enough light.

These are bred for specific single colours, but desert roses can be unpredictable and don't always flower true to their parentage. The tubestock has not yet flowered so we can't guarantee flower colour. If you don't mind a little surprise with your succulents, the colours will be one of those in the gallery.

Description

Adenium arabicum 'Thai Mix' - desert rose

APPEARANCE : Small, slow growing shrub-like succulent with a large trunk-like base called a caudex used to store water. Flowers during spring through summer with single blooms. Colour may vary : white with a pink edge, all white, all pink, occasionally deep pink or red.
USE FOR : Ideal planted in dry garden beds alongside cacti and succulents. Suited to container planting too!
PLANTING : Plant in cacti mix or very free draining soil with some sand and small stones added to avoid root rot.
CARE : Water when the soil becomes dry, and a little more frequently during hotter months, over watering can cause wet feet. Leaves drop during winter when the plant is dormant, this is perfectly normal! Your plant will be bursting with life again in no time. Feed with liquid fertiliser for best results.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 0.5 - 1 m H x 60 cm W. May grow up to 2 metres with plenty of patience!
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
