Anigozanthos humilis x flavidus 'Bush Pearl' PBR - kangaroo paw
APPEARANCE: Compact, abundantly-flowering kangaroo paw, disease resistant and free flowering. Vibrant magenta-pink buds open to pale pink small paw flowers on branching stems.
USES: Good size for pots and containers. Wildlife gardens and native gardens. Cut flowers for the home.
PLANTING: Plant in light free-draining soil in a full sun with plenty of air. Kangaroo paws don't like too much humidity and do better in drier climates. This variety can withstand a light overnight frost.
CARE: For best flowering display remove the first flower spike to help stimulate new flower buds. Prune spent flowers and dead foliage regularly. Feed through spring and summer to ensure a good flower display; water well in hot or dry weather.
