This variety is Purple rain, flowering purple from winter into spring depending on our location. It makes a generous informal shrub or small hedge, and responds well to a good pruning after flowering to keep it neat.

Purple Rain is a compact one - ideal for smaller gardens, lower hedges, and even large container growing.
