Geranium Black n White
Herbaceous geraniums are perfect for creating an old-fashioned cottage garden mood in your garden, and this pretty variety is perfect for balancing vintage style with modern looks.
Open violet-white flowers, delicately traced with dark lines, glow against bronze-purple foliage. Black 'n White seems to grow happily almost anywhere, even in the outback if you can give it enough water.

Geranium pratense 'Black 'n White' - meadow cranesbill
APPEARANCE: White and palest lilac flowers in spring-summer, bronze-purple foliage, loose mounding habit. Herbaceous so it will die back in winter and re-emerge in spring in colder climates
USES: Cottage gardens, underplanting below trees, groundcover in part shade, in baskets and containers.
PLANTING: Plant in any soil, any aspect, any location except waterlogged. It might flag a little in very tropical humid climates, but try it and see. The sunnier the position the more water it will need. Mulch after planting to retain moisture and regulate soil temperatures as the young plant establishes. Really cold-hardy to Siberian levels.
CARE: An application of a native slow release fertiliser in spring will help keep the plant healthy. Light trim in summer will help prolong flowering throughout Autumn.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 40 cm H x 40 cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
