Grevillea thelemanniana 'Baby' - spider-net grevillea
APPEARANCE : A low-growing West Coast native groundcover grevillea with abundant small brush flowers in warm red with yellow tips, from autumn to winter.
USE FOR : Mass planting, groundcover, feature shrub, wildlife and native gardens.
PLANTING : Grows in the wild in sandy heath that gets winter wet, but in gardens will grow in clay and loam too.. Mulch well and water regularly until the plant is established. Apply a native plant fertiliser yearly. Prune lightly after flowering to promote new growth and flowering.
CARE : Prefers a warm, sunny position in the garden and is relatively hardy once established. Feed with a slow release native fertiliser during early spring when buds form - thelemanniana grevilleas are phosphorus-sensitive so the P ratio of the fertiliser needs to be under 3%
