Glossy foliage and sweet-scented white flowers make this jasmine a winner for warm-climate gardens. Grows to a manageable 2-3m. Plant near the house to enjoy the scent in the evenings. Frost-tender - for cooler climate gardens, choose Jasminum polyanthum which is hardier.

Description

Jasminum sambac - Arabian jasmine, sampaguita

APPEARANCE : Rambling shrub with glossy foliage and highly fragrant white flowers.
USE FOR : Beautiful feature plant, well suited to rambling cottage gardens. Perfect in containers on the patio as it releases a beautiful scent during the evening.
PLANTING : Plant in well drained soil in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune after flowering to promote dense growth habit and flowering, fertilise with a slow release fertiliser in spring. Protect from frost.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 2-3m H x 1-2m W.
