Lavandula angustifolia "Alba" - white English lavender

DESCRIPTION: Scented flowering shrub with slender grey-green foliage and white flowers during summer.
USE IN: Perfect for cottage gardens and hedging. Suited to rockeries and pots. Right at home in cool dry climates. Cut flowers may be dried and used in flower arrangements or potpourri.
LOCATION: Plant in a sunny, northern facing location in full sun. Will tolerate lower light levels but flowering will be affected. Free draining soil, on the alkaline side is preferred.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly for the first 12 weeks until the plant establishes. Clip over twice yearly (taking care to remove only 1/3 of the foliage while avoiding cutting into old wood) and fertilise yearly using a slow release fertiliser after flowering maintain compact growth. Avoid wet feet. Tolerates light frost once established.
