Heaps of white flowers to attract the bees and butterflies, heaps of fragrance to relax you.

Lavandula x intermedia "Blanche" - white lavandin lavender

APPEARANCE : Scented flowering shrub with slender grey-green foliage and white flowers during spring-summer. Lavandin lavenders are a hybrid between English and Portuguese varieties, slightly less cold-hardy but with more flowers.
USE FOR : Perfect for cottage gardens and hedging. Suited to rockeries and pots. Right at home in cool dry climates. Cut flowers may be dried and used in flower arrangements or potpourri.
PLANTING : Plant in a sunny, northern facing location in full sun. Will tolerate lower light levels but flowering will be affected. Free draining soil, on the alkaline side is preferred.
CARE : Mulch and water regularly for the first 12 weeks until the plant establishes. Clip over twice yearly (taking care to remove only 1/3 of the foliage while avoiding cutting into old wood) and fertilise yearly using a slow release fertiliser after flowering to maintain compact growth. Avoid wet feet. Tolerates frost and temperatures to -10C once established.
HEIGHT:  70 cm H x 70 cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
