Romance is bred to be bushy, better in cold and heat, more free-flowering than your average English lavender. So you can plant them with confidence knowing they'll get on with the job of perfuming your garden and feeding the pollinators. - without any fuss.

Lavandula angulstifolia La Diva 'Romance' - English lavender

APPEARANCE : Fragrant shrub, with narrow grey-green foliage and slender dark purple flowers; bred for better heat tolerance.
USE FOR : Perfect for cottage gardens and stepover hedging. Suited to rockeries and pots. Right at home in dry climates. Cut flowers may be dried and used in flower arrangements or potpourri.
CLIMATE : Drought tolerant. More cold tolerant than Italian or French lavender.
PLANTING : Plant in full sun and free-draining soil. Avoid wet feet. Will tolerate lower light levels but flowering will be reduced.
CARE : Mulch and water regularly for the first 12 weeks until the plant establishes. Prune twice yearly (taking care to remove only 1/3 of the foliage while avoiding cutting into old wood) and fertilise yearly using a slow release fertiliser after flowering maintain compact growth.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH :  30-40cm H x 30-40cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
