Everyone loves monstera but not everyone has the room for a full grown one. This little lookalike is perfect for indoors or tropical gardens; it can trail down attractively, wind around a hoop, climb up a pole or trunk - you choose how to display it. Ragingly popular on Instagram right now

Philodendron minima, Rhaphidophora tetrasperma - mini Monstera

APPEARANCE : Climbing/trailing foliage plant from the Malaysian rainforests, ideal for shaded areas. Small glossy green heart shaped leaves develop the distinctive notches and outlines as they grow.
USE FOR : In tropical gardens outside, on sheltered balconies, or indoors in a pot.
CLIMATE : Protect from frost; ideally over 15C
PLANTING : Plant in free draining soil rich in organic matter in a part-full shade location for lush green foliage.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly during the first 12 weeks until the plant is established. Fertilise with a slow release fertiliser yearly to ensure luscious growth. A dousing of liquid fertiliser monthly in hot climates will keep the foliage looking great. For potted plants, avoid overwatering. Spray foliage with a trigger spray to freshen indoor plants and wipe leaves if they look dusty.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.8 - 3 m H x 45 - 60 cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
You can see an example in the image gallery.
