Rich purple blooms on an evergreen tree to 5m. impressive in full bloom. Quick to establish, especially from our tubestock. We grow hedges of this in the nursery and it responds very well to hard pruning.

Tibouchina lepidota 'Alstonville'
DESCRIPTION: Rich purple blooms appear during summer on a small evergreen tree.
USE IN: Specimen and feature tree which establishes quickly.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in full sun position in the garden. Prefers warm climates. Frost tender.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune regularly when young to promote dense growth habit and fertilise with a slow release fertiliser in spring.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 4 - 5 m H x 4 m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
