Description

Buddlejia davidii 'Silver Anniversary' aka Morning Mist PBR

APPEARANCE : Deciduous shrub with soft silver-grey leaves and cream honey-scented flowers from late summer through to autumn. Compact size.
USE FOR : Cottage gardens, wildlife gardens, for colour and scent, in mixed beds.
CLIMATE : Frost hardy, drought tolerant
PLANTING: Plant in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden, mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Buddleias grow best on light free-draining alkaline soils, but are fairly unfussy.
CARE: Prune hard after flowering in frost-free areas, or in spring in cold ones, to maintain compact growth and heavier flowering. Fertilise in spring using a slow release fertiliser, give an extra boost during the summer heat using eco-seaweed. Completely frost-hardy.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.5 - 2m H x 1.2 - 2m W.
