Syzygium australe 'Garden Lights'
APPEARANCE : Garden lights is the perfect lilly pilly for small gardens. It's compact and bursts to life through winter with intensely coloured red new growth. Best colour display comes from a full sun position.
USE IN: Formal and native gardens as a low hedge or topiary feature. Suited to container planting. Attracts native fauna.
PLANTING: Plant in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden. Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Hardy shrub, tolerates light frost and dry conditions once established. Psyllid resistant variety.
CARE: We encourage tip pruning these plants when young for maximum bushiness. Apply a native slow release fertiliser during spring.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1-2 m H x 0.8-1m W over 5-6 years.
