APPEARANCE : Low growing, compact, neat and quick to establish for those looking to add vibrant colour to the garden. Deep rose-purple flowers appear spring and autumn. Hybrid of T. mutabilis x T. lepidota
USE IN: Borders and low hedging or mass planted for maximum impact. Consider planting in the foreground combined with taller Tibouchina varieties. Suited to container planting on patio settings.
PLANTING : Plant in free draining soil in a sunny-partly shaded location. Best flowering is achieved in full sun.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly during the first 12 weeks or until the plant is established. Prune as required neat growth habit. Feed with a controlled release fertiliser yearly, provide additional water during dry periods and protect from frost.
