Anigozanthos x hybrid 'Yellow Gem' - kangaroo paw
APPEARANCE:  Aussie Native with arching strappy leaves and bright yellow paw-like small flowers held above the foliage. Red stems. Kangaroo paws are evergreen native plants with “paw”shaped flowers from spring to summer.
USES:   As a feature in pots or as a massed display in your garden. The flowers are bird attracting and can be used as an indoor cut flower arrangement.
PLANTING: Kangaroo paws like a well drained and somewhat drier conditions. Plant in light free-draining soil in a full sun frost-free location with plenty of air.  
CARE: Prune old flowers and dead foliage regularly and this plant will reward your efforts.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: Up to 1.5 m x 1 m.
