Grevillea Lollypops
Ooh lolly lolly lolly! We love the juicy fruity colour of the mature flowers - and you'll get to enjoy them all year as Lollypops doesn't know when to stop!
Rounded shrub shape, and dense foliage make for a lovely garden plant and the perfect habitat for nectar feeding birds and butterflies. Bred in Queensland - will flower year round in warmer gardens and mild climates.
Grevillea hybrid 'Lollypops'
APPEARANCE: Vibrant pink flowers throughout most the year, flowering more heavily in late winter and spring. Offspring of Billy Bonkers, bred by Richard Tomkin in QLD
USE FOR: Grevilleas are loved by honey eaters, flocking to feed on the flowers at dusk and dawn. Ideal for use as a feature plant or in mixed native borders.
CLIMATE: Survives light overnight frosts; protect against hard or prolonged frost. Drought hardy once mature; watering will encourage flowering.
PLANTING: Well drained clay loams or sandy soil with a neutral to acid pH. Prefers full sun to part shade.
CARE: Water during the first 8-12 weeks until the plant is established. Light pruning after flowering will promote flowering and dense growth. Feed with a slow release native fertiliser when buds form - grevilleas can be phosphorus-sensitive so the P ratio of the fertiliser needs to be under 3%.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.5m H x 1.5m W
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
